gifts for the newlyweds

I've been waiting so long to post this. I think it's safe now considering that the wedding is taking place within the next twenty-four hours and I am sure the bride has better things to do than check blogs, plus I'm not sure that anyone really checks this blog... ever... so we're safe.

Here's a handmade gift for the newlyweds. Using my trusty Short Pleated Apron pattern from Amy Butler's In Stitches, as well as another modified placemat pattern from the same book (finished size 17" x 12" + it's reversible! and off-the-cuff napkins. I hope they will be blessed with many lively dinner parties, quiet brunches and decadent desserts.

Cheers!
