update to the hot kitchen mess post below

It was a pumpkin cheesecake. A delicious pumpkin swirl cheesecake. With cracks in the top because I opened the oven during the baking process, thusly breaking all cheesecake protocol.

  2. Yesh yesh, I put it all together in the a.m... then baked it for 45 minutes on my lunch break... cooled it until I got home from work and then chilled it whilst at the Biergarten for the Boy's Birthday Boot. It was an all-day process.

    I WISH I had made a crockpot cake. I'm so curious, I even have a recipe printed. I just can't... believe that it works. Have you made one? Would you like to make one, combined with our crafting/Motorcycle Diaries/empanada party? Set it and forget it (which will be the title of the post about this future crockpot cake).

  3. ahhh haha! i have not made one myself but i have eaten one. it was delish. if you like mushy desserts. which, i do.

    ps- that is quite the committment for the boy's b-day. he's one lucky guy.
