You remember that green smoothie from the Whole Living detox. I'm sorry to say that while our smoothie consumption is still going strong, that particular recipe has not survived in our repetoire. I usually stick to frozen berries, a banana, almond or soy milk, ground flax seed, spinach and sometimes a dollop of peanut butter but Chris has now convinced me to add frozen peas and butternut squash to the mix. In the right quantities, you actually can't tell they're in there and you get some bonus nutrients like... well, whatever peas & squash bring to the table. Give it a try.
