I had a nice four-day weekend. Did some stuff, did some more stuff, laid around outside, went to a barnside movie party & swapped some infused tequila for really awesome things. More about the food swap later. Albany swappers really brought it. It's a crazy double-swap week for me, with Albany's yesterday and the 'Toga swap on Wednesday. Yowzas. Will report back... say, Friday? Yes, Friday will be a food swap round-up. If you aren't on board yet with strangers swapping food, you will be soon. It's so fantastic. Actually, if you are a local reader, just sign up for the Saratoga Swap and see for yourself. You don't even have to swap anything if you don't want to, you can just chit chat and check it out.
Don't forget about my giveaway on Facebook! Click here and comment on this FB post for a chance to win Barbara Kingsolver's Animal, Vegetable, Miracle plus two homemade beverage cozies! So easy. You have until Wednesday night...
Parties, food swaps, shoes and fresh veggies?! You're living the life, girlie. It was great to see you this weekend - thanks for your amazing help on Saturday and for the great organization on Sunday. You are a superstar if ever there was one.
ReplyDeleteah, that sounds like the perfect doorstep combo! also, i believe what you labeled an onion is actually garlic (which i only know because i just bought some from kff at the toga market).
ReplyDeleteDoh! Of COURSE that is garlic! I had just thrown it in my fridge without a second thought and assumed since it was so humongous it must be an onion of sorts. Thanks for the correction! I also missed the KFF email this week which usually corrects all of my wrong assumptions :)
ReplyDeleteWaiting with bated breath for the recap & photos over here :) And not too hungover from the contents of that blue jug, boy that Sangria was good. A little too nervous & busy last night to take enough pics to do a recap justice, I know your will be fabulous! How great is it to be busy w/ so many fun things to do? You did a great job helping to organize the first Albany swap, everything went smoothly. Splendidly fun, and a great way to meet other people interested in food.
