A few things I'd like to share that I've collected over on tumblr...
Even though I've heard these kinds of tattoos don't hold up well over time, I think they are just beautiful.
But better to be scared and moving

Reading nook. I'd very much like to lounge here in the mornings and catch up on my books and magazines and daydreaming.
“Teaching girls that their appearance is the first thing you notice tells them that looks are more important than anything,” says Bloom. “I always bite my tongue when I meet little girls, restraining myself from my first impulse, which is to tell them how darn cute/ pretty/ beautiful/ well-dressed/ well-manicured/ well-coiffed they are…It’s our culture’s standard talking-to-little-girls icebreaker, isn’t it?”
-How to Talk to Little Girls by Lisa Bloom, which encourages adults to ask little girls about ideas and books, instead of complimenting their looks.
I am trying to be more conscious about what I put up over at tumblr, instead of using it as a catch-all bookmarking site. So you should be seeing a stronger focus on topics I don't talk about as much here, with a glimpse into what motivates me and what fuels my own passion. And of course, pretty pictures and Sesame Street videos.
